A few favorites

Since we have done so much over the past few months, Dad has chosen a few of his favorite pictures to post.  They will span a large period of time, but I think you'll agree with him, I am pretty handsome!

Colorado

Mom and Dad also took me on another airplane trip to Colorado!  We got to play with Aunt Meryl, Uncle Joey and Noah for a few days.  Wow was it pretty out there!  I really like the mountains and can't wait to go back.  Maybe when I get older I will learn how to ski.  I rode a gondola up the mountain, got my first kiss and even saw a moose!  I would have to say it was a pretty amazing vacation!

Visiting Louisiana

I also got to take an airplane ride to visit Granddaddy, Lola and Uncle AJ this summer!  What a fun time we had.  Aunt Jill, Uncle David, Aunt Amie, Miley and Zach were also there.  Granddaddy bought me a basketball hoop that I played with all week.  So much fun!!!!

The Beach and Playground!

We also took some trips this summer.   We went to the beach at Nana and Papa's house in June where Mom and Dad showed me what a horseshoe crab is.  What a very strange creature!  Mom is braver than I am to pick it up.  Wow!

We also spend a lot of time in the park.  I love riding the motorcycle.  In fact I like it so much, I can even say the word.  That is no small feat when you are as small as me!

Asleep at the Switch??!!

So Mom and Dad have been negligent in helping me keep up with my blog lately.  But in their defense, Mom started a new job, Dad got a promotion and I tend to take up pretty much all of their free time.  So, I am going to cut them some slack and I hope you will as well.

So, let me get you caught up on what's been happening.

First of all, I got glasses!  And bifocals at that.  I am generally pretty good about wearing them, but sometimes I get tired and they go bye-bye.

Here are a few pictures of the good and bad...

In the spring, we also had a visit from Nana and Papa.  We had such a nice time.  We went to see trucks and got to play.  What a fun time we had for a few days!

In case you haven't heard, I also really like cats or gatos as they are called in Spanish.  Here I am with my favorite gato, Macha.  She lives down the street and is VERY. patient with me.  VERY patient...

More to follow in my next post!

Future Hoopster

Here I am showing off my skills.  While everyone else wants to be Lebron, Kobe or MJ, my idol is Charles Barkley.  We are a lot alike, we are a bit... portly, funny and always talking.  Yup, my game is going to emulate the Round Mound of Sound!

Daddy's Home!

I am so happy to see Daddy!  Daddy went to visit Baby Cousin Ryan and Big Cousin John this weekend.  Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well enough to fly and I had to stay home.  But when Daddy got back I let out big cheer!  Please don't leave me again Daddy!

Puppy!

For those of you who haven't met him yet, this is my friend puppy.  Check that, this is my best friend puppy.  There is little I like to do without him.  We go to the park together, chase squirrels, watch the neighborhood from the front door, and of course eat together.  Life is good when puppy is around!

Dr. Lechter?!!

Mom and Dad took me to lunch today.  The food was pretty bad, but this basket was THE BEST!  They kept calling Hannibal Lechter.  Not sure what that means, but I had a great time!  I will say the fava beans were delightful!

Happy Day!

You know how some days are just better than others?  Well my friends, today was one of those days where everything just came up Davidson.  The first picture is me waking from a good nap.  Then I went and worked out in the gym and came home to cook a light supper.  Yea, it was a good one!

Going Mobile!

Done are the days of letting Mom & Dad sit and watch me play. I've decided that the easy life is over for them.  I have started walking with the aid of a toy and boy is it fun!  I can get to wherever I want without anyone's help.  I think I am on to something here!

Oral Hygiene

If I have said it before, I have said it a million times.  There is just no substitute for good oral hygiene.  That's why I am sure to brush in the morning and after every meal.  See how happy I look?

2013!

2013 was a pretty fantastic year.  I was baptized, got to meet Granddaddy, Mel & AJ.  I went on a trip to visit Grandmother in Kentucky, Grammie in FL and Nana & Papa in CT.  Oh, and I turned one.  Phew I sure am tired.  Here is a little collage of the memories from my year.

Cousin John!

I just love my cousin John.  Every time I go past his picture I like to stop and say hello. Sometimes I will even give him a kiss and let him know how much I love him.  I can't wait to see you for your birthday Big Cousin John!

Let it snow!

I am not sure what is going on, but this cold white stuff is falling from the sky.  The trees and ground are covered in this stuff!  Dad is complaining because he has to shovel and keeps saying this will be my job some day, but I'm not hearing it.  I am going to crawl into bed with Mom and snuggle while the old man labors.  Here are few shots from the front door.

Bowl Game-Day!

Today is New Year's Day and I am ready to watch the Tigers play.  I am also getting adventurous - I am moving from the chair to the side table.  Seconds later I will topple the table and the lamp that sits upon it.  The joys of being a boy!

Geaux Tigers!!!

Swim Lessons

Mom & Dad signed me up for swim lessons and boy do I love the pool! We go every Saturday and I love every second of it.  I can't wait for the summer time so we can go swimming more often!

Yes Chef!

Since the kitchen is fast becoming my favorite room in the house Mom & Dad are starting to think I may have a future as a chef.  I hope Mom & Dad like their puppy served medium rare - its a specialty of the house!

Oh, and in case you haven't noticed I have started pulling up on the coffee table, chair and of course the stove handle, dishwasher and fridge.
